I will forever be a fan of brides in their wellies.  because no matter how elegant, classic, modern or vintage your wedding style is they will forever go with your dress and add a youthful feel to your day.

and if anything else, they are just plain FUN!

I'm Alive!!!  I've been totally busy at home with weddings and trying to plan my own wedding.  plus it's always harder to blog from another computer.  You don't have all your bookmarks and sources at your fingertips. 

anyway, I was checking out some blogs this morning and spotted this lovely number by Vera Wang.  I love the big flower detail at the front and the bussel is Amazing!

Love shoot Wednesday!

It's Wednesday everyone!  My friend Sheena is getting married this Friday so in her honor here are some shots from their engagement shoot for this weeks Love shoot Wednesday! 

T and I are running around doing some taste testings, meeting with the church and taking our engagement pictures today as well!  wish us luck!

Jaw-dropping

As soon as Stephany posted these photos of the wedding she recently shot I stopped dead in my tracks.  The Location is the beautiful setting of Raspberry Island and the Minnesota Boat Club on the banks of St. Paul.  Location aside the couple is BEAUTIFUL and the brides dress... Wow.  It fits her amazingly and the flower detail on the front is my most favorite part. 

It's all about the details...

Polka Dot Order

a few months back I was contacted through my etsy shop from Bride-to-be, Kat.  She was looking for a dress for her June wedding in Scottland, where she and her groom were going to elope! 

It was a pleasure working with her to create a dress that she would love!  She just sent me these pictures from their wedding day.  I couldn't be more happy for them!

14 Months!

so, I'm getting married in 14 months as of yesterday!  Wow. 

I thought I'd share with you some inspiration boards I've made for us. 

First is a color board.  The actual tones haven't been decided but it will be along these lines.  A vibrant Red, Orange and a Grey.  A bit of a twist on the typical fall wedding.  T just bought red Converse shes to wear to the reception (I told him he needs to wear nice shoes for our church ceremony 

This next one is more of style board.  filled with images that I've found online throughout the past couple months while gathering ideas for this special day.  Details will include Burlap, beautiful blooms and a unique cake.  Overall I do feel like board exudes the exact style and look that we are going for.
